BriefMonyhull Church were looking for a website design after their old site proved difficult to maintain and the design past its sell by date. They also wanted the site to be easy to use for new people. The church has over 200 people every sunday and a real heart for the community.
The first part of the job was to break down the important information, new information hierarchy was introduced with the focus being people who have never visited the site or the church before.
Simpler language was used for big theological words and the tone open and friendly. Pastel greens were introduced throughout the site and headers made it clear what options were available.
A clear pathway to, finding out more about christianity and also about real life stories meant new comers could gain an understanding of the organisation quickly.
